SHAKESPEARE ACTOR TRAINING:
A TALK & DEMONSTRATION WITH KATHRYN WALSH

Heller Center for Arts & Humanities
Sunday, July 18, 2021 | 12pm-1:30pm

kathryn walshIn-person Prologue returns for what has become summer tradition: an in-depth look at actor training for Shakespeare. We have hosted great acting teachers in the past, including Tina Packer, John Douglas Thompson, Jon Jory, Maryann Plunkett, Jay O Sanders, Caitlin, Leah and Murray! All have taken different approaches to understanding and teaching the Bard. This year, we have theatre director Kathryn Walsh joining us on the bucolic grounds of the Heller Center for Arts & Humanities on July 18th. Walsh specialized in Shakespearean theatre as a student at Harvard, in her time training at Shakespeare and Company in Massachusetts, and in her directing career.

This event is free and open to the public. For more information contact Kevin Landis at klandis@uccs.edu.
